Official visit of the Vice President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to India
At the invitation of Shri M. Hamid Ansari, Vice President of India, Dr. Sai Mauk Kham, First Vice President of Myanmar, will pay an official visit to India from January 19-23, 2015. He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including Cabinet Ministers and Deputy Ministers as well as various senior officials from Myanmar.
During his visit, Dr. Sai Mauk Kham will have meetings with President, Vice President, Prime Minister and External Affairs Minister. He will visit places of historical, cultural and economic importance both in and outside Delhi.
This visit is the latest in a series of high-level contacts between India and Myanmar over the past few years and will further strengthen the close and friendly relations between the two countries.
