@IndiainMyanmar commemorated #RashtriyaEktaDiwas2022 with members of the Indian community and our local friends. Cultural performances, photo exhibition and documentary film on #SardarPatel, virtual talk of #DrShobhanaRadhakrishnanan marked the occasion. Ambassador Shri Vinay Kumar also administered #NationalUnityPledge to the participants.

Embassy of India, Yangon celebrated India’s ancient gift to the world ‘Ayurveda’ on 20th October 2022. Chargé d'affaires Ms Nabanita Chakrabarti addressed the gathering. We thank Dr Priyanka Pawal, Ayurveda practitioner and Ms Swati from Art of Living for sharing their valuable thoughts with us. Sattvik food was also served after the event.

17th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas (PBD) convention was virtually inaugurated today by Hon'ble External Affairs Minister and Hon'ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Embassy of India, Yangon joined the inauguration live along with members of the Indian community on 13th October, 2022

Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is celebrated every year on January 9 to mark the contribution of the overseas Indian community to the development of India. It also commemorates the return of the Mahatma Gandhi from South Africa to India on Jan 9, 1915.

This time Pravasi Bhartiya Divas Convention will be held in Indore from 8-10 January, 2023. For more details go to:
