Delegation from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi visited Myanmar

A delegation of eminent academicians, led by Professor V Ram Gopal Rao, Director IIT Delhi, visited Myanmar from December 16th to December 18th 2019, to create awareness about prestigious ASEAN PhD Fellowship Programme and to explore collaboration, joint research and corresponding MoUs for IIT Delhi.

On 25th January 2018, the eve of Indian Republic Day, the Honorable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, in the presence of the leaders of all 10 ASEAN member states, announced 1000 fellowships exclusively for ASEAN citizens to pursue fully funded (by Government of India) PhD programmes at the internationally renowned Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). ​

As mentioned by the Honorable External Affairs Minister of India at the programme launch in September, this programme is the largest capacity development programme undertaken by the Government of India, for foreign beneficiaries.

IIT Delhi is delighted to introduce itself as the coordinator for ASEAN Fellowship Programme and an institution renowned for its research, innovation and startups. IIT Delhi Delegation consists of Prof V Ram Gopal Rao, Director IIT Delhi, Prof Nomesh B Bolia, Mechanical Engineering, Prof Ramesh Narayanan, Center for Energy Studies, and Prof. Manish Kumar Singh, Electrical Engineering. Highlights of the visit are as follows:-

• Interaction with the faculties and students of MIIT, Mandalay and also a session with young teachers and aspiring researchers at Mandalay On 18/12/19

India is the fastest growing country in education and technology; it has a lot to offer to the neighboring countries in this field.

The Embassy of India, Yangon organised various meetings to ensure effective outreach and create awareness about Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and the ASEAN fellowship programme.

အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံနည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်၊ နယူးဒေလီမှ ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူး Professor V Ram Gopal Rao ဦးဆောင်သည့် ထင်ပေါ်ကျော်ကြားသော ပညာရှင်များပါဝင်သည့်ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့တစ်ဖွဲ့သည် ဂုဏ်သိက္ခာရှိသော အာဆီယံပါရဂူဘွဲ့ သင်တန်းများ အကြောင်း အသိပညာပေးရေးနှင့် အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံနည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်ဒေလီအတွက်ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်း၊ ပူးတွဲသုတေသနနှင့် သက်ဆိုင်သည့်နားလည်မှုစာချွန်လွှာများ လက်မှတ်ထိုးနိုင်ရေးလေ့လာရန်အတွက် ၂၀၁၉ ခုနှစ် ဒီဇင်ဘာလ (၁၆) ရက်မှ (၁၈)ရက်အထိ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသို့လာရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

အိန္ဒိယသမ္မတနိုင်ငံနေ့၏အကြိုနေ့ဖြစ်သော ၂၀၁၈ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇန်နဝါရီလ ၂၅ ရက်နေ့တွင်အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ ၀န်ကြီးချုပ် ရှရီ နာရင်ဒရာ မိုဒီသည ်အာဆီယံ ၁၀ နိုင်ငံ၏ခေါင်းဆောင်များရှေ့မှောက်တွင ်အာဆီယံနိုင်ငံသားများအား သီးသန့် (အိနိ္ဒိယနိုင်ငံအစိုးရမှ) ငွေကြေးအပြည့် အ၀ထောက်ပံ့မည့် နိုင်ငံတကာတွင် နာမည်ကျော်သော အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံနည်းပညာ တက္ကသိုလ်တွင် ပါရဂူဘွဲ့သတင်တန်းများအတွက်ပညာသင်ဆု ၁၀၀၀ အစီအစဉ်ကိုကြေငြာခဲ့သည်။

စက်တင်ဘာလတွင် ယခုအစီအစဉ် စတင်သည့်အခမ်းအနားတွင် အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံပြည်ပရေးရာ ၀န်ကြီးမှဖော်ပြခဲ့ သည့် အတိုင်း ဤအစီအစဉ်သည် အာဆီယံနိုင်ငံများအတွက် ဆောင်ရွက်သောအိန္ဒိယအစိုးရ၏ အကြီးမားဆုံးသော စွမ်းဆောင်ရည်ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေး အစီအစဉ်ဖြစ်သည်။ အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံနည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်၊ ဒေလီသည် အာဆီယံနိုင်ငံသားများ အတွက်သီးသန့်ပညာသင်ဆုအစီအစဉ် အတွက် ညှိနှိုင်းဆောင်ရွက်သူအဖြစ်နှင့် ၎င်း၏သုတေသန၊ ဆန်းသစ်တီထွင်မှုနှင့် လုပ်ငန်းအသစ်များဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်း အတွက် နာမည်ကျော်သော တက္ကသိုလ်တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ပါမောက္ခ Nomesh B Bolia သည် အာဆီယံပေါင်းစည်းရေး အစီအစဉ်အတွက် အမျိုးသားအဆင ညှိနှိုင်းရေးမှူးဖြစ်သည်။ ပညာသင်ဆုအစီအစဉ် အသေးစိတ်ကို http://asean.iitd.ac.in/ တွင် ရယူနိုင်ပါသည်။

အိန္ဒိယသည်ပညာရေးနှင့်နည်းပညာတို့အလျင်မြန်ဆုံးတိုးတက်နေသောနိုင်ငံဖြစ်သည်။အိမ်နီးချင်းနိုင်ငံများအားဤနယ်ပယ်များနှင့်ပတ်သက်ပြီးကမ်းလှမ်း ရန်များစွာရှိသည်။ အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံသံရုံး၊ ရန်ကုန်သည်အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံနည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်၊ ဒေလီနှင့်ထိရောက်သော ထိတွေ့ဆက် သွယ်မှုများ ရရှိစေရန်နှင့် အာဆီယံမိတ်သဟာယဖွဲ့ခြင်းအစီအစဉ် (ပညာသင်ဆုပေးခြင်းအစီအစဉ်)နှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ သိရှိလာစေရန် အတွက်အစည်းအဝေးများပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သည်။
