AYUSH Scholarship Scheme for AY 2019-20

The Government of India through Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) offers scholarships for foreign nationals including citizens of Myanmar for studying in Undergraduate/Post Graduate/ Ph.D courses in Indian Universities/Institutions/Colleges for pursuing various Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) medicine courses. The Ministry of AYUSH under its ‘International Fellowship Programme’ extends financial support to the eligible foreign nationals for undertaking AYUSH degree courses in premier Institutes in India.

2. Detailed guidelines on the process of applying for ICCR Scholarships online on the A2A Portal and the procedure and norms governing the same is given on the www.a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in. For Academic Year 2019-20, A2A portal would accept the applications for AYUSH Scholarship Scheme up to 17^th of July, 2019. The prospective students are advised to exercise due diligence & research in a dedicated manner on the specific admission criteria laid down by various Universities for each subject, and ensure that they submit all relevant documentation as required by the Universities in addition to the basic certificates mentioned in the application form. For this, they may refer to the Universities Handbook/ University Grants Commission/s website and the concerned institute’s website for eligibility criteria.
