Particulars of organization, functions and duties; |
As the Head of the Mission, Ambassador provides overall direction to the Mission. Functions of the Mission include political and economic cooperation, trade and investment promotion, enhancing cultural relations, press and media liaison, handling matters related to technical cooperation. and consular services to Indian community and tourists visiting India. The Embassy is organized into various wings as follows: (a) Administration Wing (b) Political Wing (c) Economic & Commercial Wing (d) Development Cooperation Wing (e) Press 6 Information Wing (f) Indian Cultural Centre Wing (g) HRD/Education/Training Wing (h) Consular Wing, The Embassy functions within the purview of business allocated to the Ministry of External Affairs under the Government of India’s Allocation of Business Rules and Transaction of Business Rules. |

The powers and duties of its officers and employees; |
General Administrative powers are derived from IFS (PLCA) Rules, as amended from time to time. Financial powers of the Officers of the Embassy of India have been detailed in the “Delegated Financial powers of the Government of India’s Representatives Abroad”. Consular powers are derived from the ”Passport Act of India", Visa Manual, Consular Manual and circulars issued by the Ministry from time to time. |

Decisions are taken under instruction and supervision of the Ambassador. |

Norms are set by the Ambassador in consultation with Ministry. |
