VISIT OF INDIAN NAVAL SHIP RAJPUT TO YANGON
(11-13 MAY, 2017)
Indian Naval Ship Rajput will visit Yangon, Myanmar from 11-13 May, 2017 for a goodwill visit.
INS Rajput (D 51) is the lead ship of Rajput class ships of the Indian Navy. Commissioned into to the Indian Navy on 04 May, 1980, the ship has displacement of over 5000 tonnes, a length of 146 meters and is capable of doing speed in excess of 30 knots. The ship is designed to embark a Kamov or Chetak helicopter.
The ship’s crest design displays a head protector helmet with crossed spears, used by Rajput warrior, on a red background. Second ship in the Indian Navy to be named as Rajput, she has a glorious past and is affiliated to the Rajput Regiment of Indian Army.
The Commanding Officer of the ship is Capt. Rizwan Ali Shah who heads a crew of over 250 personnel, including officers and sailors.
Major activities during stay at Yangon include, courtesy calls, interaction with personnel from Myanmar Navy, visit to places of interest and friendly sports.

အိႏၵိယႏုိင္ငံမွေရတပ္သေဘၤာ Rajput သည္ ခ်စ္ၾကည္ေရးခရီးစဥ္အျဖစ္ ၂၀၁၇ခုႏွစ္ ေမလ ၁၁ မွ ၁၃ရက္ အထိ ရန္ကုန္ျမိဳ႕သို႔ လာေရာက္မည္ျဖစ္ပါသည္။
အိႏၵိယႏုိင္ငံမွေရတပ္သေဘၤာ Rajput (D 51) သည္ အိႏိၵယေရတပ္၏ Rajput အမ်ိဳးအစားသေဘာၤမ်ား၏ ဦးေဆာင္သေဘၤာျဖစ္ပါသည္။အိႏိၵယေရတပ္သို႔ ၁၉၈၀ခုႏွစ္ ေမလ ၄ရက္ေန႔တြင္ တပ္ေတာ္ဝင္ခဲ့ေသာ ဤသေဘၤာသည္ တန္ခ်ိန္ ၅၀၀၀ေက်ာ္ တင္ေဆာင္နုိင္ျပီး အလ်ား ၁၄၆မီတာရွည္ကာ အျမန္ႏွဳန္း ၃၀ knots ထက္ပိုျမန္နိုင္သည္။ သေဘၤာေပၚတြင္ Kamov သို႔မဟုတ္ Chetak ဟယ္လီေကာ္ပတာ တင္ေဆာင္ နုိင္ရန္ တည္ေဆာက္ထားသည္။
သေဘၤာ၏ ဦးထိပ္ဒီဇိုင္းသည္ အနီေရာင္ေနာက္ခံတြင္ Rajput စစ္သူၾကီးအသံုး ျပဳခဲ့ေသာ ဦးေခါင္းအားအကာအကြယ္ေပးသည့္ ေခါင္းေဆာင္းတြင္ လွံမ်ား ကန္႔လန႔္ျဖတ္လွ်က္ထားပုံကုို ပံုေဖာ္ထားပါသည္။ အိႏိၵယေရတပ္၏ Rajput ဟုအမည္ ေပးမည့္ ဒုတိယသေဘၤာသည္ ေတာက္ပေသာအတိတ္ကာလတို႔ရွိျပီး အိႏိၵယၾကည္း တပ္၏ Rajput တပ္ရင္းၾကီးႏွင့္ ဆက္စပ္မွဳရွိပါသည္။
ယခုသေဘၤာ၏ Commanding Officer မွာ Capt. Rizwan Ali Shah ျဖစ္ျပီး အရာရွိမ်ားႏွင့္စစ္သည္မ်ားအပါအဝင္ ၂၅၀ေက်ာ္အား ဦးေဆာင္လာမည္ျဖစ္ပါသည္။
ရန္ကုန္ျမိဳ႕တြင္ေရာက္ရွိစဥ္ ေဆာင္ရြက္မည့္အဓိကအစီအစဥ္မ်ားတြင္ ျမန္မာ့ တပ္မေတာ္ (ေရ) မွအရာရွိမ်ားႏွင့္အျပန္အလွန္ဆက္သြယ္ေဆာင္ရြက္ျခင္းမ်ား၊ ဂါရဝျပဳေတြ႔ဆံုျခင္းမ်ား၊စိတ္ဝင္စားဖြယ္ေနရာမ်ားသို႔လည္ပတ္ျခင္းမ်ားႏွင့္ခ်စ္ၾကည္ေရး အားကစားပြဲမ်ားကစားျခင္းတို႔လည္းပါဝင္သည္။
