"Ayurveda Day"

Embassy of India, Yangon celebrated India’s ancient gift to the world ‘Ayurveda’ on 20th October 2022. Chargé d'affaires Ms Nabanita Chakrabarti addressed the gathering. We thank Dr Priyanka Pawal, Ayurveda practitioner and Ms Swati from Art of Living for sharing their valuable thoughts with us. Sattvik food was also served after the event.

"Unity Day"

@IndiainMyanmar commemorated #RashtriyaEktaDiwas2022 with members of the Indian community and our local friends. Cultural performances, photo exhibition and documentary film on #SardarPatel, virtual talk of #DrShobhanaRadhakrishnanan marked the occasion. Ambassador Shri Vinay Kumar also administered #NationalUnityPledge to the participants.

"Celebration of ITEC Day – 2022"

Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) forms a key element in the development partnership cooperation between India and Myanmar. Embassy of India, Yangon organised ITEC day celebrations on 16 September, 2022 to bring all ITEC Alumni and ICCR scholars together to commemorate a journey of togetherness in knowledge sharing. We thank all ITEC and ICCR alumni for joining us and sharing their experiences. (16 September, 2022)

Ambassador of India to Myanmar H.E. Mr Vinay Kumar attended the closing and award ceremony of Morya Cricket League-3 on 14th August, 2022 at the Park Royal Hotel at Yangon in which 108 players participated in a competitive and sportsman like spirit.

Observance of Anti-Terrorism Day - 21 May, 2022 Cd’A Ms. Nabanita Chakrabarti administered Anti-terrorism pledge to colleagues at Embassy of India, Yangon . The objective behind observance of this day is to wean away from the youth from terrorism and the cult of violence by highlighting the sufferings of common people and showing as to how it is prejudicial to the national interest.
